Gurgaon is just half an hour drive from the capital of India - New Delhi. This is the place i live in. Our city is still developing, but very fast and intensive. Here you will find many huge software companies, many high-rise buildings, modern residential houses and societies. You will find huge shopping malls and cinema halls.
In short, Gurgaon - is somewhat close to those busy cities of Europe. Nowadays, the city is still developing, you will find many 'untouched' land in here, but at the same time you may find over-crowded places also.
Gurgaon is a costly city, so you won't see lot of beggars, like in Delhi. They simply can't afford staying here. But sometimes you will find only several small kids asking for money on the roads, near the traffic lights.
We have many shopping malls, where you can buy all kind of handicraft and clothes, food and other things. Also, almost in all the malls you will find a cinema hall on the top floor. Main shopping centers are located on the main road of Gurgaon, so it is easy to find them.
In Gurgaon city, there are many monkeys. It is so habitual seeing them every morning on the balcony. Sometimes, people are so much frustrated form them, but can't do anything. First of all, monkey is the 'image' of Hanuman in India, so people honour these animals. So that as cows, whom you will also find in India very easy, just look outside the window, one or group of them will definitely be there.
Monkeys feel free and nice in here, some people give them food. But make sure you won't do that, as they are rather unpredictable.
Many times, i've seen how monkeys were attacking people with bags in their hands, taking away bags, searching for the food. They usually attack in the group, so be careful.
- Pros:Nice roads, less traffic, good malls, biz center, nice to live in
- Cons:Developing, too much dust on the roads, rare street lights
- In a nutshell:The Indian modern tech-city...
