Singapore is a small island of the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. It is a big stopover point for long haul flights from around the globe. Very clean and organised, it is a modern city and can be a pleasure to travel.

I had 3 days in Singapore on my way overland up to Thailand. I found it a great city, amazingly clean, very modern, in some ways very futuristic with Tv's on the buses!....it is expensive by south east asia standards but still cheap to England, except beer...if you wanna get on the beer, then take a fat wallet!
