I've been to Barcelona three times now and loved it each time.
The 1st time in 2002, I visited for a long weekend on a cheap Easyjet flight.
The 2nd time in 2008 was for a football match when england played andorra.
It is one of Europes great cities. The architecture by Gaudi is fantastic. The atmosphere just walking the streets is great, it has buzzing nightlife, beaches just down the road. you can stay cheaply in hostels. Getting around is easy. Food and drink can be very expensive though! I loved it!
The third time, i repeated some of the tourist sights on my short trip in Jan 2013, but also ventured out into El Raval at night and found it one hell of a cool area to hang out, loved it.
