I visited Pisa on a day trip from London because i got a cheap ryanair day return for just £21, flying first thing in the morning, returning last thing at night. I even got time to visit Florence one hour away on the train. Pisa is a pretty city but mostly famous for the leaning tower, which i personally thought was very impressive. The tower is situated in a piazza called Campo Dei Miracoli. In the same Piazza are the cathedral and the baptistry, both impressive too. Pisa is easy to get to Florence, one hour by train and 2 hours from London by ryanair! |
