Trieste is a pretty city near the Slovenian border and is a good gateway to Eastern Europe. Ryanair fly here. I visited for a day either side of my little trip to Slovenia and Croatia, my flight costing just £34. Theres nothing major to see, some nice buildings, a harbour to chill out by, not much nightlife though. |
