"South African playground" a L. Vilanculos Travel Page by littlebush

Vilanculos situated on the Indian Ocean is a small town but very popular in the xmas period with South African tourists and their big toys, namely 4x4's, speedboats, jetski's etc. There is a long stretch of beach here and a few restaurants in town. A lot of people are here to visit the Bazaruto islands off shore. I stayed in Vilanculos for 2 nights, 1 night either side of visiting the islands.
