"Africa's largest city....." Cairo by littlebush

Cairo, Africa's largest city is one of my favourites(Home to something like 16 million people!). Situated right on the Nile river, a rich Arab culture, cheap restaurants, great markets, chaotic traffic jams, all part of the hustle and bustle of this great city. With the ancient city of Giza close by home to the most famous of Pyramids, nearly all visitors must spend some time in Cairo. As well as the Pyramids, theres the Cairo museum, home to the most important Ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world, including the face mask of Tuthankhamun and all the boy kings jewellery.
You can cruise on the nile, eat at cheap restaurants, pick up some real cheap bargains at the markets and just generall y have a great time. Its hot most of the year, probably too hot for most in Summer. I went in April when it was just right.
