"Broome" Broome by littlebush

Many people rant and rave about Broome so after driving for around 5000km through mostly red dust, the odd bush and plenty of dead cows and kangeroos, we were a little disappointed when we arrived. Not that its a bad place, in fact it really is a lovely place, there you go, ive just talked myself out of slagging it off! I think we just expected something a little bigger, plus 3 of us got really bad food poisoning(dont eat pizza at the pizza place next to Tokyo joes nightclub!) which spoilt our time there.
But for such a small place, there is a fair bit to see and do, well, we did spend nearly a week here!
Cable beach was once voted the 3rd best beach in the world so i guess its worth visiting jst for that! personally i didnt see what the fuss was all about(mustve been the food poisoning put me in a bad mood), but then i guess one persons idea of a good beach isnt the same as the next person! But it has one of the most amazing sunsets ive ever seen in my life!

The Crocodile farm, not far from the beach is worth a look!

The Open air cinema is good, built in something like 1914 and still standing! but take mozzy repellant! and dont go to see 'Dude wheres my car', the worst film ever!
