This is my third visit to Barcelona, shame on me, I came here only one day on my way back from Lisbon in the late 199s. At that time, I spend most of my limited time in visiting Gaudi's masterpieces. I had this time a few days after my conference. But this time, I had a more time to visit places.
Included in my trip was to visit to Montserrat (50 km N-W of Barcelona). I was so happy to visit this village as I had long wanted to come (see Montserrat album).
It is pleasant to sit in a cafe which is in every corner of Barcelona. I hear that it is usually a little humid but when I was there in June, it was hot but not humid. The breeze was very pleasant.
It is impressive to have such ceiling art. Its on the second floor just before you go to modern art, look up! You will notice the masterpieces are not only the paintings and sculptures but also the museum itself.

Great that you had a conference in Barcelona! I had several long visits to Barcelona in earlier years, and hope to return sometime to see how the city has developed since then.
