Bantayan is a quiet and picturesque tropical island. It is worth the long and bumpy journey both for a simple visit as well as for long vacations. Its laidback atmosphere, the pristine environment and the magnificent wide stretch of white beach with crystalline clear water make it a jewel for relaxed vacations.
Santa Fe town is a lively community with joyful and friendly people as all Bantayans are. Filippino visitors are very common, coming here to enjoy the romantic sea side sunset walks!
Bantayan town and Santa Fe are interesting to walk around. An old Spanish Fort, Octong cave, and some other caves are of interest, too. A rented bicycle or motorbike can take you around the island . Beach resorts are scattered around some other beaches. The newer of the two upmarket Santa Fe Resorts houses Ogtong Cave in its premises.

Kota beach

Food is fulfilling with fresh fish coming from the day's catch and restaurants serving tasty local, Eastern and Western food.
Diving and snorkeling at the small pristine islands nearby are available.
