Stockholm - beauty on water

What can I say about Stockholm?

Plane at the new T5 at Arlanda airport
Stockholm is located on (or by) lake Mälaren and the Baltic sea and is "built" on 14 islands connected to each other by 53 bridges (if my calculations are correct). Its archipelago is composed of approximately 30,000 islands and most islands can be seen on the ferries to Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki and Turku/Åbo.

This is where I work and I guess it's not that bad, but 90% of the times I have a love-hate relationship with the city, hehehe.
This is a street lamp I found on my way to work. The first thing that popped into my head when I saw it was "intergalactic planetary, planetary intergalactic" (Beastie Boys - Intergalactic) because it looks like a flying saucer when the sun light hits the cables right.

I had a friend come through here last month so thought I would see what the locals say. You have great comments and pictures of the sites to do and see. Thank you.

Probably I will never get to Sweden, so this was quite a good VIRTUAL TOUR!
