Breakfast locations and other finds

We absolutely adored breakfast at the fishmarket. we walked across Pyrmont Bridge more or less straight on then chose some nice oysters, bubbles, juice and bread and..... last time chinese fried squid and green papaya salad... and enjoy alongside the harbour, another location we really enjoyed was the cafe in the Botanical gardens it is such a nice oasis even the toilets (oops englishpeaking people only have bathrooms ore powderrooms...) seem to be in the middle of a jungle, and the gift shop there is amazing they do have little baskets woven of pine needles, aboriginal crafts, really gorgeous book selection, cookbooks too and beautiful giftwraps with australian design i did buy a eucalyptus fruit design paper to coat my photoalbum later on with it..
Another nice breakfast was in the Strand Arcade, Italian coffe from one shop, sandwiches from another, we do not really like beans n stuff for breakfast..

Waratah tours

Rudi and Gerda have Waratah Tours for small group travels we had a most delightful half day sightseeing trip with four more people and for lunch we boarded their Yacht, the Enigma were greeted witha glass of chilled wine and went off to a nice little bay to anchor for lunch and then went under the harbour bridge, passing the Opera house towards the ocean always hearing little anecdotes about local homes and or heroes, local boats whales etc. It was most informative, enjoyable and for tea we went to another little bay and had homemade cake ,coffee and tea, it was just sooo delicious Gerda!!! About 6 in the evening they dropped us off again in Darling Harbour. It is not cheap, but if you can do it, it is absolutely recommendable!!!
