Noordwijk Youth Hostel: Noordwijk Youth Hostel

Was ok
It is however about 15-20 min walk to the beach - i had a cycle with me at the time - so was very quick for me - about 5 min
Please note the Youth Hostel is quite a way from the town centre of Noordwijk on Zee were all the nightlubs are - and the Restaurant were we ate
We drove in cars when we went restaurant- but i did also cycle there when i had some free time - it is not too far.
I went by road - but i think it is also possible to go to the Coast and get the traffic free cycle path the whole way there (of course if you do this make sure you have lights are you won't be able to see a thing on the way home (lol).

Unique Qualities: Pub
Not too far from Beach if you want to go for a swim.
Sky looks very beautiful on beach at sunset.
Local people do not get a taxi home from the nightclubs - they cycle home (if you do this make sure you have lights however and you are supposed to have reflective tyres in Netherlands)

Directions: If you are reasonable fit you should easily to able to cycle to Noordwijk from Amsterdam - alternatively get train to Leiden and cycle from there (also cycle hire in Leiden).
