Spiez sits on a promentory on Lake Thun, mid way beween Thun and Interlaken. It's a very beautiful location, and quite a nice destination for a day trip from Interlaken (which is what we did).

Takes me back more decades than I'd like to admit. Went with the school, and remember trips to Bern, Thun , Interlaken and the Aar gorge. Thnks for the memories.

i went to school in spiez. our classroom was in the station overlooking the lake view like in your pics! well done page!

i think this is a suitable place for the postcard - after all. and spiez, thx for the castle... i remember attending a wedding there - when i was a kid... but i had only a faint memory of it
