    • Standing in Pjazza Tommaso Dingli is St. Mary's Church, dating from the early 1600s. It is considered to be one of the finest renaissance buildings in all of Malta.
    The square has a couple of Cafes on it, but both were (bizarrely) closed for siesta (isn't siesta the time people go to cafes?).

     Siesta is the time the Maltese go to sleep...well a lot of them do, especially in the summer :-) Attard is one of the nicest towns in Malta...just happens to be where I live! Anne
