Cospicua - One Of "The Three Cities"

by steventilly - last update: Jul 12, 2004

Parish Church and War Memorial, Cospicua
"The Three Cities" are Cospicua, Vittoriosa and Senglea and stand together across the Grand Harbour from Valletta. Of these Cospicua is the least visited by tourists, apparently having very little to offer them in the way of interest. This remains to be seen (by us) as we actually had insufficient time to visit it, but saw glimpses as it adjoins Senglea and Vittoriosa which we did visit.
All that we saw of it were the two main churches, the war memorial and the old dockyard (which may be argued to be in Vittoriosa) but we saw enough to know that we will visit for longer next time we're there, regardless of what the guide books tell us.
