"Antwerp" a Antwerp Travel Page by steventilly

We always liked Belgium - we'd already been there twice - and we loved Antwerp too. We'd been there 3 times already on those two trips to Belgium.
Each time we went though, it was always just for the day, and always that day was grey and cloudy -so until now I had no good pictures of Antwerp to make a page from.

And ever since I joined VT I have known Caro, and for almost that long I have wanted to meet her. Well, the only way to do that was to go back to Belgium for a third time. And so this trip was planned long ago, but for most of the time it seemed to be just a "dream".
Well, eventually it happened and since we liked Antwerp so much, this time we decided to base our stay there (and we'd had enough of staying in the cheap hotels of Ostend).
And yet again on this trip it was grey and cloudy for most of our days in Antwerp - but at least this time I got enough decent pictures to make a page :-)

We met a lot of friends on this trip - Caro of course, and Filip too while in Antwerp, and we met Helga and Walter in Heist and Brugge.
It was great meeting these friends, not just so we could finally get to know them a little better, but also because of the "expert" knowledge they bring with them, especially about the great eating and drinking places. Probably we wouldn't have found half of the places we ate and drank at without them. Thanks a lot for that :-)
