The city of Innsbruck is the capital of The Tirol region of Austria. It is quite small and compact and it's historic heart, The Aldstadt, can be easily visited on foot. If you're not taking in all the indoor attractions (museums, etc) it's a good daytrip destination. If you want to see more, and if you want to visit the surrounding area then you could easily spend a few days here. There are mountain resorts near by too, Seefeld and Igls are just a short train journey away.

What a bright and SUNNY virtual visit to Innsbruck, Steven. Austria is one of my favorite countries, although I haven't spent much time in Innsbruck. (More time near Salzburg and skiing up at Zell am See) Cheers.
