    Bocci is a variation on the game of Boules as played in other Mediterranean countries. We stopped and watched Bocci being played on a couple of occasions, once by "locals" and once a competitive game between two Maltese clubs. We kind of got the hang of the rules, though I don't think I'm 100% clear about them.
    It doesn't look like a dangerous sport to watch, depsite the warning signs around the arena :-)

    Directions: There's a Bocci club at most towns. The one in Bugibba is on the seafront quite close to Bay Square.
