| Quinault Lodge as seen from lake |
Lake Quinault Lodge, built in 1926, is a precious gem set in the Olympic rainforest just south of Olympic National Park. Generations of families have played football or badminton on the well kept lawns in front of the lodge. Even though it sits in one of the few temperate rainforests in the world, it is one of the most popular vacation spots for local Washingtonians. |

807Wheaton Tue Jul 4, 2006 01:32 UTC Hi Ken. Hope you get to Rathburn farm. We never saw a drop of rain during our visit to the Olympic National Park - nor did we see a Banana Slug - just my luck - I always miss the good wildlife sightings.
