One of my more interesting adventures was a side trip to Tikal National Park in Northern Guatemala. Parque de Tikal Page |
| Fabric in an open Market in Chichicastenango |
| | My Guatemala Page reveals the color, the mystery, and the agony that this country has experienced. |
| | Mountain Rainier I am blessed by the awesome beauty of this gigantic mountain that looks out over our city. |
| Storm Clearing over Lago de Atitlan |
| | I Love Central America Since 1999, I have been to Guatemala once and El Salvador three times. I have really enjoyed helping to develop villages for the poor of both countries. When the hard work is done we have always managed to visit the historical and tourist sites also. |
| | Christmas is always just around the corner! I lived in Lake Forest Park, a north Seattle suburb overlooking Lake Washington, a body of water extending 30 miles to the south and over 2 miles wide in many places. Over the last 20 years over 50 international students who have come to this area to study have called Weaver Manor their home. I enjoy learning about the cultures of other parts of the world while at home. However, travel is the best way to really see how the rest of the world lives. |
