Located in the Eastern part of Austria within an hour's drive of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, Vienna is one of the major cultural centres of Europe. If you are into the arts and music, Vienna is a perfect place to visit. It is definitely worth going to see a classical music concert, which I did, although they can be a bit pricy. The city also has lots of history, especially from the era of the Hapsburgs who ruled much of Central Europe which the Austria-Hungarian Empire covered. Some places to visit include the Belvedere Palace, Hofburg Palace, and Schonbrunn Palace.
