"Belur - Halebid, The Heritage Sites in South India" Belur by Swadeshika

We organised a group tour from Bangalore on 6th - 7th September 2003.

We started from Bangalore on a Saturday morning and came back from Belur Halebid on 7th evening.

We feel that a 2 day trip covering Belur Halebid and some other smaller places is a good & sufficient time, and anything beyond this period might imply that you are a "Historian" of sorts!!

• Pros:Belur & Halebid are very significant historical places in India
• Cons:If you are not artistically inclined, maybe you can spend a short time
• In a nutshell:Worth a visit indeed!!
