We've spent a weekend at Kanton Uri in November 2008. Once again I was travelling with the band and this made sight seeing almost impossible.
We took a flight to Zurich... pure decadence! ; ) Few years ago nobody would have thought about flying from Frankfurt to Zurich! Flight time was a bit more than 30 minutes... very pleasant!
We've been picked up at the airport and were taken to Erstefeld/ Uri. On our way there we passed several beautiful lakes and mountain landscapes. Gladly our driver agreed to stop a few times for us to take some photos.
I really feel I should return to Switzerland for a vacation (maybe next year).
