This was definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Paris. The food was amazing. We started out with a salad and water, as usual in Paris. Then, the waiter brought out tons of these pizza-like things, flammekueche. They are like a super-thin pizza, without tomato sauce. Instead, they have a creamy sauce that is delicious. They come with ham, bacon, mushroom, etc. Since I was in a group, we were brought many different kinds of the pizza. It was a great experience to end my stay in Paris.

For dessert, you can get the same flammekueche, but with dessert toppings. My group got a baked apple and a chocolate chip dessert pizza. I did not think I would like these, but they were amazing as well.

Favorite Dish: My favorite flammekueche would have to be the delicious ham one, shown in a picture. However, I loved every one I tried. For dessert, the baked apple was amazing as well. All of my friends loved the chocolate chip dessert flammekueche.

Well, I have an interesting sort of review. This restaurant is known for its delicious steak; however, I do not eat beef. However, the restaurant did a pretty good job of accommodating for me. I had to eat a salad as my main meal, which I usually hate doing. This salad was delicious, though. There was also tons of fresh bread to go around.

My friends got "steak," though I thought it looked exactly like a hamburger patty. They all raved about how delicious it was.

I also had the house red wine. It was good, though some of my friends did not enjoy it.

Favorite Dish: I thought the salad was amazing. But, as you'd expect, my friends greatly enjoyed the steak.

Moulin Rouge: A decent meal to go with the show

As for the food in the Moulin Rouge, it was satisfying. For starters, we were each served a piece of baguette bread. After, we were served encrusted poultry pâtéa. This dish looked like a slice of bread filled with chicken and jell. It was okay. For our entree, we received veal "blanquette" with rice pilaw. Since I do not eat veal, I received the vegetarian dish. The rice and vegetables were delicious.

Overall, the meal was satisfactory, nothing special.

For the meal and the show, it was 99 Euros. According to the menu, this price is valid until 16.11.2008.

Now that your Paris page is "finished" (in quotes because I'm sure you'll come back at some later time and love the city) I've just had a look at your new tips since Sept. 26, 2008. Good work! I also use a Canon Powershot camera and it works fine.

Most excellent rant.... I am sure my daughters (one named Alyssa) felt the same way when I first dragged them to Paris. but now they love it. Happy travels, Karl

It's too bad you didn't enjoy Paris. Definitely give it another try, but with more time and less structure. Your member name is really creative and funny, though!
