Yes, it's truth Alexandria lost it's past charm a long time ago.
It was at it's peak surely the greatest city in the world and world's leading educational and scientific center.
But that was about two milenia ago.
So let us leave the past behind and have a look what the second biggest egyptian city has to offer.
What i found the greatest about the city was its PEOPLE.
I have travelled through many places in Egypt but has never seen so many nice people. |

|  | If anyone says that there are nice beaches in Alex it ain't true. If you can call them beaches you have to use your widest imagination and still they are the ugliest i have ever seen in my life and people swim there for reason i can't figure out.
If you do not mine horrible smell of SHI=,fuel, some dead animals floatin' and pieces of wood and rubber than go ahead for swim.... |
| | But the reason why i would go back is.... THE PEOPLE
It is really amazing how many times we were approached by small kids wanted to play football or just practice their english.
Even the older ones just stoped us many times just to chat and not except some money as some basta=== in Cairo,even if you speak arabic.
That is Egypt.
I will never forget the small kid who wanted to play with us football in front of the most beautifull mosque in Alexandria just beside the entrance to the comercial port.
