Take the fast boat or ferry to get here Aqaba is the only waterfront resort of Jordan and very busy place. It has its own rich history and is located so strangly that you can see Jordan,Saudi Arabia,Israel and Egypt when coming or leaving the Aqaba fort. Like nowhere else on earth. The picture is showing the border between Israel and Egypt with the white building in the middle as is seen from Aqaba's port. Israel is on the right side and Egypt on the left. See any difference? |
| | The tallest free standing flagpole in the world Do not be fooled by the picture, the flagpole doesn't seem to be 132 meters (430 feet ) high, but the flagpole is very far away from the building in front of the picture. |
| | Not only the scubadiving Although most people come here to do some kind of water sports, Aqaba is in fact pretty busy cargo port and if you will be forced to wait 10 more hours for the cargo boat to leave ( as we were ) than you'll see what I meant with that. |
