A great place for water activities. - Cold Lake

Discovering new things constantly

We moved here mid 2008 and though we have explored the area some, there is so much to see! I can hardly wait. So far we did get to spend the back end of summer in the North Bay Cabins and after a few dips in the lake (including a couple of times unintentionally from the canoe) it was easy to see how it got it's name. It's a really beautiful area.

Pros and Cons

Pros:It's a nice small town, Friendly people.
Cons:Bad customer service in a lot of places, Hate the 'pro life/murderer' sign that has been on display for over 15 years.
In a nutshell:So far I am enjoying this chance to explore the west but I wouldn't want to stay in Cold Lake for a lifetime.

Great restaurant reviews for Cold Lake! We liked our Panago pizza too and A&W (or Tim's) is always our Canadian stand-by if we need a quick meal anywhere on our various Canadian trips!
