Honolulu Hotel Tips by passingshadows

I read up on the hotel in trip advisor before booking and I was a little hesitant because of some of the reviews. My priorities were location and cleanliness and I was not disappointed..

There are 2 towers (the Shore and Park towers), and downstairs there is an ABC store, a Japanese restaurant, Lulu's Surf Club and Starbucks.

I read that the Shore tower was renovated a few years back so I requested a room there, and it looked pretty much like the picture on their website. It could use a new coat of paint but for the location and view, it didn't seem that important. You might be better off getting a room with a view (either ocean view or oceanfront) because the room itself is very basic and a little on the small side.

Room service was available (during certain hours) from Lulu's downstairs and the staff were very helpful and kind.

Unique Qualities: Right at the end of Kalakua Avenue so it is on the quiet part of Waikiki. Across the road is the beach itself and to the left is Kapiolani Park and Honolulu Zoo.
