Hello everybody,

May I present myself? My name is Rose, I was born and still live in the beautifull city of Ypres (Ieper) in Belgium. I am a medical nurse and still working. My interrests are: arts, architecture, archeology, music, walking/hiking, history, meeting people from all over the world and of course, last but not least, TRAVELING.

In my free time, I'm a student at the Academy of Arts in Tielt, doing ceramics.

I'm also a student at the academy of music in Ieper and there I'm learning to play the Flemish bagpipes and the Hurdy-Gurdy.

The picture shows you my brother who's playing! Why this picture? Well you never know the music is coming through, and I can tell that he's playing the pipes a lot better than I do!

What the hell is this? Well look at the picture and to save your ears, you won't hear the sound, no one is playing ;))

How can I not admire all those beautifull buildings created by manhood? I love to see how buildings are changing from the old civilisations untill the contemporary styles.

Every human being is an artist! Only a few are considered as one.
Sorry, there are the pipes again ;))

Two other of my favorites! I love strolling along all those historical remains of the old civilisations. It makes you wanting to learn more about the people who were living there, how was live in those times? Archeology and History are so closely linked!

As I am a member of the group 'De Boogscheut' I feel part of our wonderfull Mother Nature.
