Lake Nakuru is famous coz of flamingoes who visit the lake to feed on algae that forms on the lake bed. In the park we also saw rhinos resting under accasia trees at the shore as there is a sanctuary for them at this park.
The park abounds with game. There are huge herds of waterbuck, zebra, buffalo, and the endangered Rothschild Giraffe. It also the best park to see the shy and elusive leopard.
