My first, and only trip was a one day to the Casbah. What a time to remember. I bought a knife in a back area of the main market, and thought that was the last of my life, when surrounded by 6 locals, all looking mean.
We took a hydrofoil over the Gibralter for the day. It is a short 1 hour trip over.
Got a camel ride, had my pocket picked, and generally got a feel for the area. A lot of beggers and children will harrass you, and I hear now it is dangerous for tourists to even venture into some areas, if not all, and body guards for tours is necessary.

It is worth riding a camel, at least once. Along the coatal area, I recall many locals have them for a quick ride to say... more travel advice
