This is what you do here-walk the street The street and town are not as large as in the past, but the shops and store fronts look like they were back in late 1800's. It was a real treat to walk the street and take in all the activity as it must have existed back in the glory years. This once was the most wealthy city in US. The are some souvenir shops, but also a couple a eating places and bars. The preservation of time is what you are here for. Take the tours for fun and history. |
| | Not much traffic to worry about Looking some desolate and desperate, a tourist-really Micky my companion, is posing and pensive of what to do next. We walked the town street a number of times and took our leisurely time to enjoy it all. |
| | Really is one in operation They have a volunteer fire department that has a museum, and the town has had its share of fires. The museum displays 19th century fire equipment and that display is nice. |
