The town is quiet and offers some shops to drop into and shop. They have a number of colonila style homes in the town, and the main one featured for tours is Nickels-Sortwell, right near the center.

The history of the town dates back to early 1600's, and became more in demand about mid 1700's for a century. They had shipbuilding and fishing as trades. The town today only has 3,000 people, but many nice homes to view.

  • Pros:Not a crowded and touristy town-seafood is fresh
  • Cons:Not a full day trip to visit is needed
