Symbolizing the pioneering of the folk and the children who hang on for better times, looking for parenting to take care of them

Unique Gingerbread style bulding in town

There is a mix of the old and new, but the main part of old town is still preserved, and the local hangout is the restaurant/coffee rest in the middle of town.

Greetings to a friendly place

There is a slower pace here for the most part. The convenience store has the most activity. Coming to town, though is the new breed of suburban, and that can conflict with old time locals used to the old way. The river is still a place to enjoy and fish and boat for them.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Nice dirve through the town and cneter is preserved
  • Cons:Not a lot to do here afer couple of hours.
  • In a nutshell:It is nict to merely drive around and take in a slower pace
