Italy Travel Guide: 68,950 reviews and 184,289 photos
It is by far the best region from my tourist opinion. Location is good, weather is fine, and sites are great. WE are looking for an area that may provide us a place to reside temporarily while visiting Italy and the rest of Europa. While not seasoned travelers to pick up on all the tips, we are learning.
On the last trip, we found a more serene location that had less people so I could practice my driving skills. Seeing many little villages are the highlights of this trip.
WE took in many places, and after 8-10 hour days, got exhausted, but wanted to "see it all" This is a bridge overlooking a march area in Grosseto province.
- Pros:The history and preserved sites are unbelievable
- Cons:The congestion of people and traffic and tough driving
- In a nutshell:Beginning of real civilization with the Roman power is best.
