"The Arno Landscape" Florence by BruceDunning
Florence Travel Guide: 5,082 reviews and 11,268 photos
Opposite bank view of the running river of Arno. There are residential living quarters along some of this strip, and close in to the main center.
The layout of the city is really nice from a far out point. It holds many treasures. Right in the middle is the famed Duomo. This is form the other side of the Arno river which runs alongside the city.
The map shows the number of reknowned things to see and do. The obvious main sites are the Duomo, the Campanile at its side, Palazzos of Pitti, Strozzi, and Medici families and Palazzo Vecchio, Baptistry, Uffizzi gallery, and Boboli gardens
- Pros:Surely a great art treasure and many cultural things
- Cons:Tourists can impede the goal toward sightseeing
- In a nutshell:Power packed and packed with crowds
