Local Indigenous People

Local show for the cruise ships docked in Lucaya Harbor once they hit the ground to shop. The banging of the drums would be enough to even wake up the passenger sleeping in on the ship. It is so loud at the harbor, it is hard to hear someone else talk. The show lasted for about 3 hours.

Map of the shopping area

Freeport City is the main town of the island, with 38,000 population of 65,000 total on the island. They help the 1 million (high point in 2004) try to find that nice gift/trinket to take home. There are rows of shops and bars/restaurants stretching for about 3 blocks each direction.

The harbor is a more quiet place away a bit form the strolling tourists looking to buy items to take home. There are boat rides to pick from here. THE HARBOR IS JUST ONE BLOCK OFF THE MAIN STREET IN TOWN
