Schloß Linderhof Travel Guide: 90 reviews and 334 photos
This roccoco and baroque structure and surrounding graounds and cave are nearly equal to the magnificence of Nueschwanstein, cloe by. The interior of the castle is glittering in gold and mirros. It has 11 rooms, and is not really big, but packed with unbelieveable beauty. The tapestries are picturesque, and the furniture, vases and figurines are all the best you will most likely ever see. Grounds are equally as impressive. The fountian in front is a great site, but also on the side and leading back toward the grotto cave. There alsio is a Morrish kiosk and chapel on the grounds.
- Pros:I have a hard time coming to reality of how beautiful it is
- Cons:It is nicer to see in a small crowd. Come off season
- In a nutshell:This, along with the whole area of Ludwig is the best

Another page bringing back sweet memory... Unfortunately I haven't been to the Venus Grotto. May next time...
The grotto and its world of color for the presentations is beyond reality, and maybe King Ludwig was also
A true fairytale looking palace. How much wealth they must have had in those days for the display of it here.
Thank you so much for the New Year's wishes.
Linderhof is my favorite of all "Mad Ludwig" -castles !
Wow! This looks impressive!
