Osterville is one of seven villages that makes up the town of Barnstable. It is considered to be located mid-cape which means that it is approximately 20 minutes from either the Sagamore or the Bourne Bridge.
Osterville is named after early settlers found abundant oyster bed off shore. The main street is typical Cape Cod with numerous boutiques and shops nestled among beautiful picturesque setting. There are also numerous ponds, beautiful Dowse's Beach, terrific views of the ocean, beautiful Armstrong garden, and a few gems of restaurants to visit.
