About Hamburg

HAMBURG
Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany and the largest city in Europe which is not a capital city.
It is characterised by it's port (the second-largest in Europe) and it's renowned night life and culture. The Beatles played many gigs in Hamburg and lived in the St Pauli district for a time. It is a very cosmopolitan city at heart although a trip to the dock area gives a real impression of what Hamburg was like in years gone by.
