I was in Dublin for 3 days in early 2010. Although this was nowhere near long enough to see everything the city has to offer, it was long enough to sample the hospitality and diversity of the place.
- Pros:Good museums, shops, people and craic
- Cons:The strange drunk people....and the puke
- In a nutshell:Great for a flying visit!

Very interesting and useful tips on your short stint in Dublin! My wife and I spent and interesting week in Ireland several years ago and finished the trip off with a day in Dublin. We too enjoyed our time in this historic city.
A nice page - I like the statue of Oscar Wilde.
Interesting Dublin page! I never saw anyone aggressive in Cork. On the contrary, everybody was kind and helpful, and I simply loved the banter!
I have only spent a few days in Dublin too and it is defenitely a place I want to return to, to see more. Nice tips Steve!
What you witnessed was the old Dublin, I used to work in the city & never once did I see that but yes of course I'd walk on by as I am a) trying to get to work or b) trying to get home to my safe haven in the suburbs. PS I hate the city, too many people!
