Food very good. A nice but rather soulless bar (The Britannia) which has Efes, Xerdilan, Bitburger (all draught) and other bottled beers e.g. Stella Artois.
The rooms seemed quite big and have lots of hot water - they were very clean. 155 Manat per night was my rate - you get about $1.18 to the Manat (Dec '07). The hot buffet breakfast was 26 Manat. The chicken kebabs were good, plus they do good room service which seems to be 24-hour. You can also get an internet connection in the rooms, plus there is a small gift shop inside which is open late. There is also a fitness room which I didn't see and a small outdoor pool.
The breakfast was a lovely big buffet with nuts, cereal, bacon, sausages, egg served from about 7.30 to 10am and there is lots of choice and very attentive service from about 5 waiters. They also do a very nice buffet lunch varied daily - hot or cold. You can also get bar food at the Britannia - I got a club sandwich and chips which was very tasty, at well after 11pm although the service was a bit slow. I would recommend the place.
Unique Qualities: The food and service are both good and they solicit feedback from guests - don't be frightened to give it.
