A Little Bit of Everything | Having Dinner at The River's Edge |
As a kid we considered Yonkers as "upstate". Being from the Bronx it was very different from where we came from. Yonkers is very diverse. You can find just about every ethnic background and a restaurant to serve that type of cuisine. I worked in Yonkers, have friends who live there and enjoy dining out in many of the restaurants. |
|  | Yummy Tortoni Tortoni is so good it need to have it's own separate picture. Definitely have some when dining at The River's Edge.
If you're Italian it needs no explanation. For the rest of the people: It's vanilla ice cream topped with toasted almonds and topped with a cherry. This was a favorite treat of mine as a child. Clean your plate and you get Tortoni. |
