The Magic of Disney | Me & Chris in a Disney Winter Wonderland |
I've Loved Disney World since I first visited in 1977. It's been a life long love affair between me and the Mouse. I can never stay away from Disney for too long. I met Mickey in person in 1977 and since then I'm always on the lookout for another meeting opportunity. Unfortuately Mickey is always surround by what seems like CIA agents when he's in the parks. I'm seriously thinking of kidnapping Minnie and holding her hostage in order to meet my main mouse.... Just kidding. Minnie is safe.
Disney has that Magic that makes you feel like a kid again. I always feel carefree and happy in Disney (I normally do anyway no matter where I am but it's different in Disney). You can feel free to be silly and wear ridiculous character themed hats or eat a Mickey shaped ice cream bar without looking childish. It's a great escape from the stresses of everyday life. It will always be a favorite destination for me. |

|  | Around the World... There is always something fun to see when wandering around Disney World. The strolling characters taking pictures with children and signing autographs. It always makes me smile to see a child's reaction to seeing their favorite character walk up to them. We watched as an adorable little boy go crazy over Piglet. He couldn't stop hugging it. It was so cute to watch.
The care that Disney puts into their attractions, buildings and landscaping is amazing. The topiaries and flowers are immaculately care for and have beautiful designs. The buildings and attractions are always clean and well maintained. I like to search for "Hidden Mickeys" when in Disney World. It's amazing how many you'll find. |
A Pirates Life for Chris The Song from the Piates of the Caribbean Ride, "A Pirates Life" got stuck in our heads. They were playing the song in the Marketplace and then on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. We spent much of the weekend singing this very catchy song...Oh well it could have been the It's a Small World" song. So:Yo, Ho, Yo, Ho, A Pirates Life for me!
Check out the additions of some characters from the Pirates of the Caribbean Movie in the ride. There is now some Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones to spice up the ride. | | | Pirate Chris looking for some Pirate Booty! |
