Chris and I had never been on a cruise before. Chris had been on govenment sponosred ones in the Navy but nothing for fun. We booked a great cruise on Royal Caribean's Sovereign of the Seas. The cruise left from Port Canaveral Florida. The ship would stop in Nassau and at Coco Cay.
We had a suite and the room was a nice size. I especially loved the large balcony. The balcony had two comfy chairs to take in the beautiful view.. |
| | Waiting to Sail I was both excited and nervous to go on a cruise. I normally get sea sick and I have a fear of drowning. I can't swim so the fear is quite justified. The motion didn't bother me a bit and it was a smooth sail from Port Canaveral. It also helped having a boyfiend who knew about ships and how they work. Having him with me made me feel so safe. This was a great first experience to cruising. I so enjoyed the entire trip.

Love Ariel I just loved my favorite bartender Ariel. He made the most wonderful and delicious Strawberry Dacquiris. It was my favorite drink of the trip...I did have many of them on our voyage. I'm usually not a drinker so Chris was very surprised at my love of this drink. Since we have been back I am dying for find one just like the ones I had on board the ship. | | | My First Strawberry Dacquiri of the Journey |

GrantBoone Wed Aug 6, 2008 11:52 UTC I took the day trip to Kennedy! | cjg1 Thu Jun 12, 2008 15:50 UTC It really was a great cruise. So much better than I remembered going to sea. And having Bob at Avis really made me feel safe with that whole experience, the gas issue aside. | Herkbert Sun Jun 8, 2008 19:23 UTC 'By the sea, by the sea....' Hi, great pics and tips. I also swim like the proverbial rock, so we've avoided the open seas. It looks delightful though. Glad you had a good time! |
