Nightlife Spot: Opera House / Harbour Bridge
There is nothing more spectacular than the Opera House illuminated in the night sky. My boyfriend Chris and I saw The Gondoliers on my Birthday night. It was spectacular to be in such a beautiful place watching a wonderfully funny show. Sipping champagne during intermision and looking out at the harbor with my man was so romantic. It was a night to remember!

Nightlife Spot: Lord Nelson
This is the one pub I wanted to go to in Sydney. I'm a big Anglophile and love British history so why not see a pub named after the famous Admiral Nelson of Trafalgar fame. The pub was a large size with seating outside as well ad in two rooms inside. The beer was not great but we had a nice cheese plate that made up for it. If the beer was better I could have easily hung out here again. I guess it was a one and done kind of place.

Nightlife Spot: Ryan's
We were set to meet up with Laura for some drinks after she got out from work but got to Ryan's a little ahead of schedule. We had plenty of time to lounge out on a comfy circular couch topped with pilloes and have some drinks. We later moved to an outside table with Laua and her friends. It was a little chilly at first bit when I sat next to the outdoor heat lamp I was toasty warm again. Definitly a good place to people watch and kick back.

Nightlife Spot: Observer Hotel
We stopped in to the Observer for a quick drink and stayed when we discovered the Red Sox game on the TV. We met a very nice couple from England who were Red Sox Fans. I guess people from England can have bad taste in teams as well as Americans.

Nightlife Spot: Lowenbrau Keller
Nice little German/Austrian restaurant/beer hall. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I had a pretzel and a beer and managed to get drunk off of just one. Chris had two liters and was a very happy boy. They are a little on the expensive side, $19 for a liter.

Nightlife Spot: Watson's Bay Hotel
We stopped at the Watson's Bay hotel to have a couple of drinks while waiting for our ferry back to Circular Quay. The views of the bay are incredible. We were very comfortable and were able to relax inthe bar area. Chris and I enjoyed some ice cold beer while we lounged.
