Located just one hour and a half way by car from Lisbon, this beautiful walled city had been on my wish list for quite some years now. Finally I had the chance to make a day trip there - and I just loved it! |

For me, the best thing about Évora is the white houses. All of them are perfectly painted and cleaned (at least on the outside :-P), which makes this city very enjoyable at every corner. I didn't see one 'bad part of the city'. It seems people are proud of keeping their houses in a good condition for the visitors, and that's something that doesn't happen everywhere (and I wished it happened on my hometown).

Ehm... After 6 weeks in Rome, seeing this roman temple wasn't such a big emotion... But it's nice, anyway... :S

wow, that bone-church is great, even more strange than the one in Sedlec / Czech Republic ! maybe I can go to see Evora in beginning of February ! |
