Porto is Portugal's second main city. I know people who love it and people who hate it - and i loved it! I guess it's kind of a "grey" city, different from Lisbon (which has a special light, even in rainy days), and it is also a little dirty, but the amazing architecture and the beautiful Ribeira area, with the river and the bridge, makes it an enchanting city.
I spent there only two days, but it's not even enough to scratch the surface properly - I would suggest a minimum of three days. |
