My second favourite place on Earth! Portovenere is a special place. Maybe what makes it so special is the tall coloured buildings; maybe it's the castle; maybe it's the island so close on the other side; maybe it's the incredible blue colour of the sea; or the beautiful little church; I don't know exactly. I just know I fell in love with this little town the first time I saw it in pictures, and I got enthusiastic like a little girl the moment I saw it in front of my eyes.
Anyway, it should be mandatory to visit Portovenere when one visits the Cinque Terre! |
